Hello LINCS !
As we reach the end of another academic year, I would like to thank everyone in the LINCS community for their dedication, hard work, and continued commitment.
This month was marked by the success of our Annual Workshop, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the richness of our scientific community. The quality of the presentations, the enthusiasm of our researchers, and the stimulating discussions throughout the event once again highlighted the collaborative spirit that drives LINCS.
As summer break begins (with some of you already enjoying a well-deserved pause), we wish you all a well-deserved and restful break. We hope you will take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the weeks ahead. We look forward to seeing you again in September, refreshed, full of new ideas, and ready to embark on another exciting year together.

Landmark events
July 2&3 – Annual Workshop with the Scientific Committee
The LINCS Annual Workshop with the Scientific Committee took place on July 2–3 in Palaiseau, bringing together the LINCS community, Scientific Committee members, and invited guests for two days of scientific exchange and discussion. The programme highlighted the five research themes identified during the December LINCS members’ retreat: Quantum 2.0 technologies, intelligent services at the network edge, non-terrestrial networks, data compression, and cybersecurity. Through scientific highlights, invited talks, and PhD/postdoc presentations, the workshop provided an opportunity to reflect on current research activities and future directions.
A special thank you to the members of our Scientific Committee, who travelled great distances to be with us, listen to our work, share their science and offer their invaluable advice, which always helps us grow and improve.

Caio is currently an Double Degree student in Computer Engineering at ENSTA (IP Paris) and USP (Universidade de São Paulo) doing a 13 weeks research internship at Télécom Sud Paris working with Professor Joaquin Garcia-Alfaro on the topic of Quantum Networks. After his years of studying in Brazil he is now pursuing a M2 in Cybersecurity in France. His fields of interest are: networks, reverse engineering and low-level programming.
Hung Nguyen is a CIFRE PhD student at Télécom Paris (Institut Polytechnique de Paris) and Nokia Bell Labs, researching the integration of Knowledge Graphs and Large Language Models to improve the reliability and factual grounding of AI-generated content. His work focuses on structured generation, symbolic reasoning, and graph-based approaches for trustworthy AI systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Machine Learning from PSL University.
