We are thrilled to congratulate our colleague Philippe Martins together with Ashutosh Balakrishnan and their collaborators from Polytechnique Montréal, on receiving the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Wireless for Space and Extreme Environments (WiSEE 2026), a leading conference in the field of space and non-terrestrial networks (NTN).
Their work tackles a key challenge for future satellite networks: how to jointly manage handovers and power allocation across multiple orbits, using multi-agent reinforcement learning.
