The Center for Science of Information (CSoI) is a U.S. based partner with headquarters at Purdue University and is comprised of prominent universities including, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Illinois, Texas A&M, Bryn Mawr and Howard University. The Center is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is one of 14 NSF Science and Technology Centers located in the U.S. At the Center for Science of Information, our mission is to advance science and technology through a new quantitative understanding of the representation, communication, and processing of information in biological, physical, social, and engineered systems.
