Congratulations to our colleague Philippe Martins on winning the Best Paper Award at WiMob 2026!
Together with Ke Ma and Jialiang Lu (Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China), Philippe received the award for “BiLCNet: BiLSTM-Conformer Network for Encrypted Traffic Classification with 5G SA Physical Channel Records.”
The paper introduces a hybrid BiLSTM–Conformer model that classifies encrypted traffic using 5G Standalone physical channel records, without payload inspection.
Congratulations to Philippe and all co-authors!
